Abstract

ABSTRACT

ASSESSMENT OF A VALVE MOTOR FAILURE AT THE GA SIWABESSY REACTOR VENTILATIONSYSTEM. It has already been done an assessment of valve motor failure at the ventilation system of RSG-GAS. Method of the assessment used are measurement and calculation of unbalanced motor voltage and motor current. Result of the measurement of imfedance resistance between two phasa wires are U1-V1 = ∞ Ω ; V1-W1 = 273,5 Ω and U1 - W1 = ∞ Ω. Resistance of cable insulation are U-G = 1050 MΩ; V-G = 950 MΩ; W-G = 1000 MΩ and N-G = 1000 MΩ. Meanwhile, calculation of unbalanced voltage between two-phase of wires is 0,516% and motor current is 1,31 A. It can concluded that cause of motor valve failure was not unbalance of voltage and current of the valve motor but it was caused by an increase of current at coil of motor valve from normal condition of 0,35 A to 1,31 A. This situation causing resistance of coil insulation receive exceeding heat more than its limiting value.
