Abstract
A DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF ASSISTIVE DEVICE FOR BOX RECONSTRUCTION FOR SIMULATION IN TPS (TREATMENT PLANNING SYSTEM) FACILITY FOR cervical cancer brachytherapy. A Design and construction of assistive device for reconstruction box for simulation on TPS brachytherapy of cervical cancer has been done to provide the facility during X-ray data testing the point coordinates in the reconstruction box. The design and construction was carried out by paying attention to the physical shape and dimensions of the reconstruction box of existing TPS, film size dimensions, the possibility of taking the position of the X-ray data and simulated placement of coordinate points in the data space of reconstruction box. By using assistive device, it is getting easier every data capture which are coordinate points to be tested against the results of comparative calculation formulas in theory. The material used is flexi glass which is transparent in X-rays. The result of the construction is a set of auxiliary devices for reconstruction box that can be used to improve facilities to take the coordinates of the point to be tested for cervical cancer brachytherapy TPS.
