Breastfeeding should be given as early as possible immediately after the birth of a baby. Breastfeeding mothers in the 3-4 days to issue a dam is often caused by the ASI the dam blood and lymph. Design research is a descriptive study with the aim to know how the occurrence frequency dam on the ASI ASI Exclusive breastfeeding mothers and non-exclusive. Sampling technique using non probility type of sampling purposively sampling the number of samples with 20 respondents. Instruments used are observations. Analysis of the data tabulation using stem diagram. From the results of the obtained from comparison of the frequency of a dam on the breastfeeding mothers breastfeed exclusively breastfed and non-exclusive of 20 respondents in the majority of the dam breastfeeding mothers breastfeed exclusively for non-ASI 8 people (80%). Some respondents who have experienced dam breastfeeding mothers in the non-exclusive breastfeeding breastfeeding mothers is that this does not work. Therefore, the program needs to be improved counseling about exclusive breastfeeding are likely to have breastfed dam.
