Abstract
Radiometric mapping is one of the methods in uranium exploration. Radiometric data analysis is needed to obtain the relationship between surface measurement data and uranium ore data obtained from drilling work. The result of the analysis is expected to be a reference in predicting the existence of uranium ore below the surface based on surface radiometry data, taking into account processes of oxidation, weathering, and water flow which is a modification factor after ore formation. In addition, the analysis also aims to test the gamma log interpretation procedure (ILG). Methodology applied on analysis is create the iso-grade and ratio map, and compares the surface with sub-surface data and dose rate with element grade data. The results show that there is a good correlation between uranium ore data below the surface with U, U/K, and U/Th ratio. In order to analyze the suitability of the application of the ILG method to obtain the U content of the TC GR data, it is concluded that there is a very good correlation between the two data.
