Abstract

Jepara’s Kampung Teknologi located in Suwawal Village, Pakis Aji Subdistrict, Jepara Regency, Central Java with an area of ±140 Ha. The aim of this activities is to get potential drilling location, including stages of activities: desk study, topography measurement, soil/rocks radioactivity measurement, geologi/hidrogeology maping, radon gas measurement, and geoelectric survey. Suwawal Village and it’s surrounding morphology are undulating plain, elevation of 30-72 meters above sea level. Geology of this area compiled by tuffaceous sandstone unit, sandy breccia unit, conglomeratic sandstone unit, laharic
breccia unit, and sandy tuff unit. Clay tuff unit, and conglomeratic sandstone at the bottom are not exposed in surface. Radiometric soil value from pebbly sandstone
weathering show 200 – 240 c/s, from tuffaceous sandstone weathering show 230 – 260 c/s, and from breccia weathering show 250– 310 c/s. Measurement of radon gas
intensity ranged from 45-248 KBq/m3 with anomalous values more than 160 KBq/m3 trending west – east relatively. Based on these anomalies with geological structure
measurement and springs alignment there are sinistral fault trending northwest – southeast. Geoelectric measurements using schlumberger configuration carried out by 20 points divide this area into 5 rocks unit based on their resistivity values, namely: laharic breccia with resistivity value range of 111-340 ohm-m, conglomeratic sandstone from 23.26 to 32.77 Ohm-m, wet breccia from 50.5 to 65 Ohm-m, tuff / claystone from 3 to 5.5 Ohm-m, sandstone from 24.5 to 35 ohm-m. Inthis area yield 3 potential locations, there are SWL-10 (as potential-1), SWL-14 (as potential-2), and SWL-4 (as potential3),
with conglomeratic sandstone, breccia, and sandstone as potential aquifer.
