Abstract

ABSTRAK
PENGARUH TEMPERATUR TERHADAP LAJU KOROSI INCOLOY 800 DALAM LARUTAN KHLORIDA. Sifat -sifat elektrokimia paduan dasar nikel diteliti dengan teknik potensiodinamik dalam larutan khlorida pada berbagai variasi temperatur. Teknik elektrokimia pada temperatur dan tekanan tinggi diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh khlorida terhadap sifat korosi pada paduan dasar nikel khususnya Incoloy 800. Dari data yang didapat terlihat Incoloy 800 mengalami korosi lubang dalam media yang mengandung khlorida.
ABSTRACT
THE TEMPERATURE EFFECT ON CORROSION RATE OF INCOLOY 800 IN SOLUTION CONTAINING CHLORIDE. Electrochemical behaviours of nickel-based alloys were investigated by potentiodynamic technique in chloride environments at several temperature condition. Electrochemical technique at high temperature and pressure can be used to evaluate chloride effect on corrosion mechanism at nickel based alloys material such as; incoloy 800. It was found that the Incoloy 800 was attacked by pitting in chloride containing solution.
