Abstract

ABSTRAK
EVALUASI DISAIN SISTEM PENDINGIN REAKTOR TRIGA MARK II BANDUNG DAYA 2 MW. Telah dilakukan evaluasi terhadap disain sistem pendingin reaktor TRIGA Mark ll Bandung 2000 kW. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk sistem pendingin primer dan sekunder baik untuk kondisi operasi normal (tunak) ataupun kondisi tak normal (transien). Pada kondisi operasi normal temperatur bahan bakar maksimum 569,7)C. Analisis berbagai skenario kecelakaan LOFA dan LOCA menunjukkan bahwa sistem pendinginan dan ECCS dapat mempertahankan temperatur bahan bakar di bawah 970°C, sehingga integritas bahan bakar tetap terjaga. Analisis dengan codes yang tervalidasi masih diperlukan untuk mendukung analisis keselamatan yang telah dilakukan.
ABSTRACT
EVALUATION OF REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEM OF DESIGN OF BANDUNG TRIGA MARK II 2 MW REACTOR. An evaluation of reactor coolant system of Bandung TRIGA Mark ll has been carried out. The evaluation is conducted for primary and secondary system, both for steady state and transient conditions. The evaluation is based on the analysis results done by the operator. In the steady state (i.e. normal operation), the maximum temperatur of fuel element is 569.7C. A series of analysis covering various accident scenarios of LOFA and LOCA shows that the coolant system and ECCS able to maintain the fuel temperature less than 970C, then the fuel integrity is kept safe. However, the detail analysis using validated codes is still needed to support the actual safety analysis.
