In this study, an environmental dose response of OSL dosimeter to 137Cs gamma photon irradiation and its acceptability according to the criteria in General Safety Guide No. GSG-7 were examined as well as the linearity correlation between the measured dose to its exposed dose. Thirty two OSL dosimeters were annealed and then read to confirm that the dose information was already reset into zero. The dosimeters were divided into 8 groups that each of them consists of 4 OSL dosimeters. Each group was irradiated with gamma radiation at 0.1 mSv, 0.25 mSv, 1 mSv, 2.5 mSv, 3 mSv, 5 mSv and 10 mSv at a distance of 200 cm from the source without an absorber. All dosimeters were read using the OSL microStar Reader. The result of the analysis using the trumpet curve equation provides the acceptable value for the exposed dose at ε 0.5 mSv. Linearity analysis for the exposed dose of 0.5 mSv to 10 mSv shows a linear trend with a correlation factor (R2) of 0.999 and a linear equation of Y = 1.061 X - 0.222. The measured dose to 137Cs gamma photon irradiation was responded if exposed dose as more than 0.222 mSv.
