INVESTIGASI PENGGUNAAN METODE ELECTRICAL SIGNATURE ANALYSIS UNTUK
PEMANTAUAN KESELAMATAN MOTOR POMPA PENDINGIN DI PWR. Pemantauan keselamatan
pompa pendingin di PWR menjadi hal yang sangat penting walaupun motor pendingin sudah didesain dengan
teknologi keselamatan dan kehandalan yang tinggi. Untuk memantau keselamatan motor pendingin ini, salah
satu metode maju adalah dengan electrical signature analysis, dikenal juga dengan motor current signature
analysis.Makalah ini mendemonstrasikan investigasi metode electrical signature analysisagar diperolehhasil
pemantauan keselamatan yang akurat. Beberapa masalah krusial dibahas dalam penelitian ini, seperti
pengesetanparameter data akuisisi, karakterisasi motor pendingin dan contoh pendeteksian kerusakan
menggunakan sebuah motor induksi 2.2 kW yang mensimulasikan motor pendingin reaktor.Hasil
karakterisasi motor pendingin menunjukkan identifikasi frekuensi slip motorpada rentang 0-4 Hz, frekuensi
fundamental arus stator 50 Hz, frekuensi rotasi rotorpada beban penuh 23.5 Hz.Sebagai tambahan, kerusakan
eccentricityantara rotor dan stator juga berhasil diidentifikasi melalui puncak-puncak harmonik frekuensi slot
rotor dan sideband frekuensi fundamental arus stator karena pengaruh frekuensi rotasi rotor 26.5 Hz dan 73.5
Hz.

ABSTRACT
THE INVESTIGATION OF ELECTRICAL SIGNATURE ANALYSIS METHOD IMPLEMENTATION
FOR THE MONITORING OF SAFETY MOTOR COOLANT PUMP IN PWR.The monitoring for the
safety of motor coolant pumps for the PWR can be very essential even though they have been designed
considering high safety technology and reliability. To monitor the safety of the motor coolant pump, one of
the advance techniques is using electrical signature analysis, known also as motor current signature analysis.
This research demonstrates the investigation of electrical signature analysis technique in order to obtain
accurate safety analysis results. Crucial aspects are discussed in this paper, such as data acquisition set-up,
characterization of motor coolant pump and the example for fault detection utilizing 2.2 kW induction motor
to simulatethe reactor motor coolant pump. The motor characterization results the identification of slip
motor between 0-4 Hz, fundamental frequency of stator current at 50 Hz, rotor frequency at full load around
23.5 Hz. In addition, the eccentricity of stator and rotor faults can also be identified using the existence of
frequencies of the rotor slot harmonic and the sideband of fundamental frequency of stator current affected
by rotor frequency at 26.5 Hz and 73.5 Hz.
