KESESUAIAN PENENTUAN KATA KUNCI PADA PUBLIKASI ILMIAH TERBITAN PUSAT
REAKTOR SERBA GUNA. Peran kata kunci dalam sistem pendokumentasian koleksi informasi berguna dalam proses penemuan kembali informasi yang sudah dikoleksi, oleh karena itu pencantuman kata kunci dalam karya tulis ilmiah sangat dibutuhkan sehingga dalam pencantuman kata kunci diharapkan dipilih dan
ditentukan kata kunci yang tepat dan dapat mewakili isi dari karya tulis ilmiah tersebut. Tujuan dari kajian
ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kesesuaian antara kata kunci yang terdapat pada publikasi ilmiah
yang diterbitkan oleh PRSG dengan thesaurus INIS (International Nuclear Information System) sebagai
pedoman dalam menentukan kata kunci. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan koleksi perpustakaan yaitu
prosiding Seminar Nasional Teknologi dan Aplikasi Reaktor dengan sampel seluruh artikel yang terdapat
pada prosiding tahun 2009, 2010 dan 2011, dianalisis dengan membandingkan kata kunci yang dibuat penulis
dengan yang terdapat pada thesaurus INIS. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat 9 penulis yang tidak
membuat kata kunci; 35 kata kunci atau 20.35% yang sesuai antara yang dibuat penulis dengan yang terdapat
pada thesaurus INIS; 15 kata kunci atau 8.72% yang sesuai maknanya tetapi terdapat kesalahan dalam
penulisan; 26 kata kunci atau 15.12% yang sesuai dan mempunyai makna yang sama tetapi terdapat
perbedaan pada jumlah suku kata atau frase. Selain itu, terdapat pula 96 kata kunci atau 55.81% yang tidak
sesuai antara yang dibuat oleh penulis dengan yang terdapat pada thesaurus INIS. Berdasarkan hasil
pengamatan tersebut disarankan kepada para pelaku penelitian dan pengembangan khususnya di PRSG
untuk menggunakan thesaurus INIS baik tercetak maupun on-line sebagai pedoman dalam membuat kata
kunci / deskriptor. Dari hasil kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peneliti masih banyak yang belum
memahami cara penentuan kata kunci yang benar dan sesuai dengan pedoman thesaurus INIS.

ABSTRACT
ADJUSTMENT OF KEYWORDS DETERMINATION PUBLICATION ISSUE OF CENTER FOR
MULTIPURPOSE REACTOR. The role of keywords in tems collection of useful information in the process
of rediscovery of information that has been collected, therefore the inclusion of keywords in a scientific
paper is needed so that the expected inclusion of keywords selected and determined the right keywords and
can represent the contents of the paper the scientific. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of
correspondence between the keywords contained in scientific publications published by PRSG (Center for
Multipurpose Reactor) with INIS (International Nuclear Information System) thesaurus as a guidance in
determining keywords. Methods of data collection using the library's collection i.e. proceedings of National
Seminar on Technology and Application Reactor with samples of all the articles contained in the proceedings
of the 2009, 2010 and 2011, were analyzed by comparing the keywords that are created by the author
contained in the INIS thesaurus. The result obtained 9 writers do not make the keywords; 35 or 20.35%
keywords among which are made in accordance with the author contained in the INIS thesaurus; 15 or
8.72% appropriate keywords but there are errors in the writing; 26 or 15.12% appropriate and meaningful
keywords but there is a difference in the number of syllables or phrases. In addition, there are 96 or 55.81%
keywords that do not fit between that made by the author in the INIS thesaurus. Based on these conclusions
suggested that the researchers of R&D especially in PRSG (Center for Multipurpose Reactor) to use the INIS
thesaurus both printed and on-line as a guidance in determining the keywords / descriptors. From the results
of this study can be concluded that researchers are still a lot who do not understand how to determine the
right keywords and in accordance with the guidelines INIS thesaurus .
