Analisis pengaruh fundamental ekonomi dan pergerakan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dollar Amerika (USD/IDR)

This research aims to seek the fundamental influences. Those influences are inflation, BI rate, and gross domestic product to the exchange rate (USD/IDR). The method of analysis utilized is multiple tinier regressions (using SPSS program version 17.0.) to determine the effect of inflation, BI rate and Gross Domestic Product to the exchange rate. The result shows that inflation has positive and significant influence on the exchange movement of rupiah towards American dollar (USD/IDR). On the other hand, interest rate has negative and significant effect on the exchange rate (USD/IDR). Moreover, gross domestic product shows a positive and insignificant effect on the exchange rate (USD/IDR).
