Abstract
Employees are an organization's greatest resource, and creativity is theirs. Creativity is the life force, the energy, that lead to profitability. Every human being is born with the potential to be creative. So, creativity in people and in their ideas is what produces the innovation so greatly needed in today's workplace. Unfortunately, many leaders and managers have no idea how to tap into the great wealth of creativity that exists in the workplace. And the reasons are of course, that most people only understand the myths build up around creativity and the creative individual, with no clue as to its pragmatic realities. This article is aimed to explain assumption about creativity as one of the greatest assets in the workplace, then to explain creativity characteristics, sources and barriers of creativity in organization.
