Abstract
The article discusses the Maulidan tradition in Mlangi Yogyakarta. The festival as commemorating the birthday of the Prophet PBUH has become a tradition for most Muslim in Indonesia. The Maulid festival in Mlangi has descended for centuries commemorating the birthday of the Prophet PBUH.
