Abstract

EVALUASI KINERJA OPERASI REAKTOR GA SIWABESSY TERAS 45 – TERAS 82. Telah dilakukan evaluasi kinerja operasi reaktor GA. Siwabessy (RSG-GAS) teras 45 sampai dengan teras 82. Evaluasi dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui kemudian menindaklanjuti apabila terdapat parameter operasi yang menyimpang dari standar desain dan pengoperasian reaktor yang selamat sesuai laporan analisis keselamatan (LAK). Kinerja operasi reaktor antara lain diwakili oleh unjuk kerja bahan bakar meliputi reaktivitas, fraksi bakar, energi terbangkitkan dan total operasi daya. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan merekapitulasi data laporan operasi teras yang dimulai pada teras operasi ke 45 tahun 2002 hingga teras operasi ke 82 tahun 2013. Dari hasil evaluasi dapat diketahui kinerja operasi reaktor sebagai berikut : Fraksi bakar maksimum rerata 56,99%; reaktivitas total 13%; reaktivitas lebih 7,4%; reaktivitas padam 5,56%. kondisi batang kendali bank awal siklus 256 mm dan kondisi bank akhir siklus 548 mm. Jumlah massa 235U awal siklus rata-rata 8.442 g dan akhir siklus 7.685 g. Energi terbangkitkan setiap teras rata-rata 646 MWD dengan waktu operasi rata-rata setiap teras 44 hari. Sedangkan hingga akhir operasi sklus 82, RSG-GAS telah beroperasi selama 78.417,18 jam dengan energi total 51.544 MWD. Dari hasil evaluasi kinerja operasi disimpulkan bahwa reaktor masih beroperasi sesuai dengan batas yang diijinkan sesuai LAK.

ABSTRACT
EVALUATION OF OPERATION PERFORMANCE OF THE GA SIWABESSY REACTOR COVERING FORTY-FIVE TO THE EIGHTY-TWO CYCLES. It has been done an evaluation of operation performance of the GA Siwabessy reactor (RSG-GAS) covering the forty-five to eighty-two cycles. The aim of this measure is to recognize and to correct if any, operation performance divert from the reactor standard design and safe operation as mentioned in the safety analysis report of the RSG-GAS. One of operation behavior is represented by performance of nuclear fuel element such as reactivity, burn-up, energy generated and total thermal power. Evaluation is accomplished by recapitulating data of reactor operating reports starting the forty-five cycles to the eighty-two cycles. From this evaluation it is shown that maximum burn-up is 56,99%; total reactivity 13%; exess reactivity 7,4% and shut down reactivity 5,56%. Control rod bank at the beginning of cycle is 256 mm while control rod bank at the end of cycle is 548 mm. Average amount of 235U at the beginning of cycle is 8.442 g and average amount at the end of cycle is 7.685 g. Average thermal energy generated at every cycle is 646 MWD and average operation time every cycle is 44 days. Until the end of eighty-two cycles the RSG-GAS has been operated for 78.417,18 hours with total generated energy of 51.544 MWD. It is concluded that the reactor is still be operated in safely manner.
