Abstract

PENGUJIAN BATERE BARU PADA SISTEM UPS 220V DC DI RSG-GAS. Batere pada sistem UPS (catu daya tak putus) BTP02 berfungsi sebagai catu daya back-up lampu penerangan darurat dan escape (lampu penunjuk arah). Telah dilakukan penggantian 1 (satu) bank batere baru sejumlah 102 buah. Sebelum digunakan batere baru terlebih dahulu harus melalui proses pengujian, tujuannya untuk mengetahui kemampuan/ kapasitasnya. Tahapan kegiatan ; persiapan pra pengujian, proses pengujian, dan komisioning. Charging I selama 15 jam diperoleh data tegangan 266.6 V dan kapasitas 528 Ah, discharging selama 10 jam diperoleh data 198.2 V dan kapasitas 352 Ah, charging II selama 13 jam diperoleh data 272.6 V dan kapasitas 457.6 Ah. Hasil data sebagai indikasi bahwa kapasitas batere sesuai spesifikasi data teknis. Batere baru sesuai SOP (standar operasional prosedur) dari pabrikan sengaja harus diuji melebihi kapasitasnya. Pasca penggantian batere, sistem UPS BTP02 kembali didukung batere sebagai sumber energi catu daya tak putus yang lebih handal dari sebelumnya.

ABSTRACT
EXAMINATION NEW BATTERIES OF UPS SYSTEM 220V DC IN RSG-GAS. Batteries in UPS system BTP02 serves as a back-up power supply for emergency lighting and escape lighting. Has performed the replacement of one bank new batteries some 102 pieces. Before the new batteries are used first to go through the testing process, in order to determine the capacities. Stages activity ; preparation of pre-testing, the testing process, and commissioning. charging I for 15 hours obtained the data voltage of 266.6 V and a capacity of 528 Ah, discharging for 10 hours obtained the data voltage of 198.2 V and a capacity of 352 Ah, charging II for 13 hours obtained the data voltage of 272.6 V and a capacity of 457.6 Ah. Data results as an indication that the batteries capacity is accor with techniques specification. The new batteries in accordance the standard operating procedure from the manufacturer mush be accidentally tested beyond its capacity. After replacement batteries , UPS systems BTP02 back powered batteries as uninterruptible power supply more reliable than before.
