Abstract

EVALUASI DATA LEPASAN MONITORING STACK DARI TAHUN 2009-2013 DI
RSG-GAS. Telah dilakukan evaluasi data lepasan monitoring stack d RSG-GAS.
Stack adalah merupakan instalasi akhir dari sistem venti/asi sebelum udara dibuang
kelingkungan. Untuk menjamin udara yang •dibuang aman bagi lingkungan dan
masyarakat, stack di RSG-GAS dilengkapi dengan sistem monitor gas mulia, beta
aerosol dan sistem pencuplik iodine. Sistem pengkukur gas mulia kondisi abnormal
dihubungkan dengan sistem isolasi gedung, sehingga jika ada lepasan radioaktivitas
gas mulia yang melebihi batas keselamatan sistem akan mengaktifkan katup iso/asi
gedung sehingga tidak ada lepasan yang keluar lingkungan sampai kondisi aman.
Untuk memastikan alat berfungsi dengan baik dan meyakinkan bahwa lepasan udara
yang dibuang ke lingkungan aman perlu dilakukan evaluasi data lepasan monitoring
stack di RSG-GAS. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara rata-rata hasil pengukuran gas
mulia, beta aerosol dan aktivitas iodine dan membandingkan dengan ketentuan
keselamatan BAPETEN. Oari hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan dapat diketahui aktivitas
rata-rata gas mulia 8,25 x 100 Bq/I, pada kondisi normal dan 4,51 x 103 Bq/I pada
kondisi abnormal, untuk iodine 3,44 x 10'6 Bq/I nilai ini masih berada dibawah batas
keselamatan BAPETEN.

ABSTRACT
EVALUATION OF THE RELEASE DATA FROM THE STACK MONITORING SYSTEM OF YEARS 2009-2013 IN RSG-GAS. Evaluation of the release data from the stack monitoring system in RSG-GAS has been carried out. Stack is the last part of the venti/ation system before the air is released to the outside environment. To make sure that the released air will be safe for environment and people, the RSGGAS is equipped with noble gas and beta aerosol monitoring systems, also the iodine sampler system. The noble gas measuring system, for abnormal condition, is connected with building isolation system, then if there is any release of radioactive noble gas which exceed limit value of system safety, it will activate the building isolation valves, so that there will be no air release unti/ the condition back to normaland safe. To make sure that the equipment is functioned properly and to make sure that the released air is safe for the environment, then it is required the data evaluation toward the stack monitoring systems in RSG-GAS. The evaluation has been carried out by calculating the average value of the noble gas, beta aerosol, and iodine activity measurement results and then comparing all the average values with the safety limit value which has given by BAPETEN. From the data evaluation, it was obtained that the noble gas average activity for normal condition was 8.25 x 100 Bq / I, and for abnormal condition was 4.51 x 103 Bq / I, for iodine was 3.44 x 10'6 Bq / I. All those values were below the BAPETEN's safety limit values.
