Abstract

ABSTRAK.
PENGENDALIAN OPERAS I REAKTOR SAAT TERJADI GANGGUAN CATU DAYA
LISTRIK UTAMA DI RSG-GAS.
Sistern listrik RSG-GAS dirancang untuk rnarnpu rnernasok bermacarn beban listrik potensial yang terdiri dari berbagai klasifikasi keselarnatan .. Kegagalan catu daya listrik utarna di back-up oleh sistern catu daya darurat (DG) dan UPS (uninteruptible power supply) sehingga keselarnatan tetap terjaga. Scram reaktor rnerupakan sistern yang terkait dengan ketersediaan daya listrik. Scram reaktor tejadi ketika daya listrik utarna hilang secara otornatis daya listrik dipasok oleh DG diikuti dengan berbagai rnacarn tindakan penyelarnatan oleh operator. Makalah ini bertujuan agar para palaksana dan penanggung
jawab pengoperasian reaktor dapat rnernaharni dan bertindak cepat/tepat dan terukur sesuai dengan prosedur (Operating Manual), sehingga kegagalan operasi dapat ditekan serendah rnungkin. Lingkup penggendalian rnencakup pernonitoran, pengarnatan dan data pengurnpulan data tentang faktor penyebab kegagalan untuk pernbuatan database sebagai acuan serta kajian terhadap tindakan yang harus dilakukan terhadap sisternsistern yang terkena darnpak akibat kegagalan catu daya utarna. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh untuk satu tahun pengarnatan 201 1, persentase gangguan berdasarkan waktu pernutusan adalah 64,29 %, listrik putus sesaat < 2 dt, tidak rnenyebabkan disel pernbangkit ON, 21,43 % listrik putus ses&at > 2 dt, rnenyebabkan disel pernbangkit ON. 7,14 % penyebab gangguan listrik putus sesaat karena adanya perawatan trafo (BHTOI). Selarna reaktor beroperasi dan terjadi gangguan pada catu daya listrik utarna, reaktor rnasih dalarn kondisi arnan. Dapat disirnpulkan bahwa proses pengendalian dapat diantisipasi dan dilaksanakan oleh sistern keselarnatan rcaktor dan kesigapan opt:rator reaktor Kata kunci: catu daya, gangguan, keselamatan reaktor

CONTROLLING OF THE RSG-GAS REACTOR OPERATION WHILE ELECTRICAL
POWER SUPPLY DISTURBANCES OCCUR. The electrical power supply system at the RSG-GAS reactor is designed tofeed all the potential electrical load which consist of many safety classes. In the case offailure of main electrical power supply, electrical generator and then uninterruptible power supply (UPS) will substitute its function then safety of reactor operation can be maintained. Scram of the reactor occur when the main electrical power supply is not available and automatically electrical power will be supplied by generator af/dfollowed by various safety measures by the operatosr. This paper is aim to increase awareness among operators to manage and response accurately and quickly as procedures whenever disturbances occur. Controlling measure if/eluding monitor, observe and collect data on disturbance causes for the purpose of database establishment as well as assessment on measure should be taken against system! components affected by main power supply failure Based on data obtainedfor year 2011,it is known that loss of power for < 2 seconds, diesel generator is still off, causing 64.29% disturbances while loss of power for 2 seconds, diesel generator start operating, causing 21.43% disturbances. percentage of impairment basedon time of disconnection was 21.43 % lossing of main electrical power < 2 s, does not cause the disel power ON, 21.43 % lossing of main electrical power> 2 s, causing the disel power ON. 7.14 % of disturbance causes is due maintenance of BHT01. From the discussion it is notice that the reactor is still safely be operated when disturbance occur. Then it can be concluded that controlling measure can be anticipated by reactor protection system and by quick and accurate response from the operators Key words: power supply, disturbance, reactor safety
