Abstract

EVALUASI PAPARAN RADIASI DI RUANG PURIFIKASI AIR PENDINGIN PRIMER RSG-GAS. Telah dilakukan analisis untuk mengevaluasi laju paparan radiasi di sekitar ruang sistem purifikasi air pendingin primer RSG-GAS. Sistem pendingin primer dilengkapi dengan beberapa sistem pemurnian diantaranya sistem pemurnian air pendingin primer. Bila sistem tersebut tidak berjalan dengan bait maka akan terjadi peningkatan kontaminasi dan laju paparan radiasi di daerah tersebut. Hasil pengukuran paparan radiasi di ruang sel primer, ruang penukar bahang (HE) dan di sekitar ruang purifikasi selama reaktor beroperasi, ditemukan adanya kenaikan paparan radiasi. Berdasar keadaan ini dilakukan evaluasi paparan radiasi di sekitar ruang purifikasi air pendingin primer RSG-GAS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengukuran dan perhitungan di setiap titik tinjauan ketika reaktor beroperasi pacta daya 15 MWthserta dilakukan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari cuplikan air bebas mineral di ruang purifikasi sebelum dan setelah melalui filter resin penukar ion. Radionuklida yang teridentifikasi dari cuplikan air setelah melalui tilter di ruang purifikasi adalah : Xe-135, Te-132, Sb-124, Na-24. Hasil pengukuran dan perhitungan 1ajupaparan radiasi di sekitar ruang purifikasi berkisar antara 1,1 mR/jam sampai dengan 27,7 mR/jam.
ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF THE RADIATION EXPOSURE OF PRIMARY WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM ROOM OF MPR-GAS. The analysis investigation to evaluate radiation exposures rate in the vicinity of the room of primary cooling water purification system for multipurpose GAS have been performed. Primary cooling water system completion with some purification system, others primary cooling water purification system. If the system is not good, there will be high level contamination and radiation exposure in the location. From the results of measurement in the primary cell, heat exchanger room and vicinity of the water purification room during the reactor operation, the increased radiation exposure are found. Based on this condition, an evaluation of radiation exposure on the vicinity of the room of primary cooling water puritication system was conducted. The methods used in this evaluation were in site directly measurement and calculation at each reference point during the reactor operation on 15 MW thermal power level. The evaluation was also performed by gamma spectrometry method for samples of water taken from the room of water puritication system before and after passed the ion exchanger resin tilter. The radionuclides were identified in the water sample after passed the filter are Xe-135, Te132, Sb-124, and Na-24. From the measurement and calculation, the results show that the radiation exposure rate in the vicinity of water purification systems in the range of 1.1 - 27.7 mR/h.
