Abstract

VALIDASI PROGRAM DIFUSI NEUTRON STANDARD BATAN DENGAN HASIL EKSPERIMEN PERANGKAT KRITIS HITACHI TRAINING REACTOR. Telah dilakukan validasi modul perhitungan penyerap kuat dari program difusi neutron standard BATAN, Batan-2DIFF, dengan hasil eksperimen perangkat kritis Hitachi Training Reactor. Modul tersebut menerapkan prinsip syarat batas dalam (inner boundary condition) untuk menyelesaikan persamaan difusi di daerah penyerap kuat dengan menggunakan koefisien kehitaman (blackness coeficient) atau konstanta derivatif logaritmik. Berdasarkan koefisien kehitaman daTIparameter difusi efektif yang dihitung dengan metoda pembobotan sederhana, maka dilakukan perhitungan reaktivitas penyisipan boron di teras Hitachi Training Reactor dengan program Batan-2DIFF. Perbandingan antara reaktivitas hasil perhitungan dengan parameter difusi efektif daTI hasil eksperimen memberikan perbedaan relatif 2,00 % - 10,84 %, sedangkan perbandingan antara reaktivitas hasil perhitungan dengan konstanta derivatif dan parameter difusi efektif memberikan perbedaan relatif 1,39 % - 5,88 %. Basil perbandingan itu mengindikasikan bahwa modul perhitungan penyerap kuat dari program Batan-2DIFF telah bekerja dengan baik.
ABSTRACT VALIDATION OF BATAN'S STANDARD NEUTRON DIFFUSION PROGRAM WITH EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ON CRITICAL ASSEMBLY HITACHI TRAINING REACTOR. Validation of strong absorber calculation modul of Batan's Standard Neutron Difusi Program, Batan-2DIFF, has been conducted with experimental results on critical assembly Hitachi Training Reactor. The modul applies inner boundary condition to solve neutron diffusion equation in strong absorber region by means of blackness coefficient or logarithmic derivative constant. Based on the blackness coefficient and effective diffusion parameter calculated by simple weighting method, reactivity calculation of poison sheet insertion in the Hitachi Training Reactor was performed by Batan-2DIFF. The relative difference of effective diffusion parameter-based calculation results and experimental result" was 2.00 % - 10.84 %, while effective diffusion parameter-based and logarithmic derivative constant-based calculation results in 1.39 % - 5.88 relative difference. The results indicates that the strong absorber calculation modul of Batan-2DIFF works properly.
