ABSTRAK
PENGALAMAN DISAIN, KOMISIONING DAN OPERASI RSG-GAS, SUATU CATATAN UNTUK
PROGRAM PERSIAPAN PLTN DI INDONESIA. Diuraikan pengalaman selama tahapan disain,
komisioning dan operasi reaktor dalam kurun waktu 8 tahun pertama. Sampai dengan tahun-tahun
pertama operasi reaktor, kegiatan alih teknologi telah dilakukan oleh pihak pemasok reaktor melalui
pelatihan formal baik di dalam maupun diluar negeri, serta kegiatan on the job training. Beberapa kendala
yang ada selama kegiatan komisioning dan operasi reaktor telah diidentifikasi. Penyiapan kemampuan
personil untuk mendukung suatu kegiatan Operasi dan Perawatan reaktor temyata memerlukan waktu
yang relatif lama, dan mestinya dapat disiapkan dalam suatu jadwal yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya.
Pengalaman yang dipetik selama kegiatan disain, komisioning dan operasi reaktor RSG-GAS, dapat
digunakan untuk menunjang kegiatan sejenis pada PL TN yang akan dibangun di Indonesia.

EXPERIENCE ON DESIGN, COMMISIONING AND OPERATION OF THE RSG-GAS REACTOR,
NOTES FOR PREPARATION PROGRAM OF THE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN INDONESIA
Experience gained during design phase, commisioning and the first 8 year reactor operation has been
described Since the design phase up to the first year of reactor operation, transfer of technology and knowhow
have been done by reactor supplier to the Indonesian personnel through formal and informal training
either onshore or offshore, including also on the job training. Several constrains occurred during
commisioning and reactor operation periods have been identified. Preparation of qualified personnel to
support activities on reactor operation and maintenance relatively takes a time, and it should be prepared as
required by schedule Experience gathered during design phase, commissioning and reactor operation
activities can be used to support the same activities for the nuclear power plant which will be built in
Indonesia.
