Analisis status keberlanjutan untuk pengembangan pengelolaan pada Danau Limboto Provinsi Gorontalo

Ministry of Environment have identified 15 critical lakes and priorities to be addressed. One of them is Limboto Lake in Gorontalo province. The depth of Limboto Lakein 1932 was 30 m with an area of 8,000 ha, whereas in 2009 the depth was 2.5 m with an area of2,537ha. LakeLimboto is very importantin terms ofsocial, economic, and ecological and it should be preserved. Therefore it needs a study on the management for Lake Limboto sustainability analysis as a foundation for more effective management of the lake. Aims of the study are: (1) to analyze the sustainabilityindex andmultidimensional statusof Limboto Lake,includes the dimensions of ecological, social, economic, institutional and technology, and (2) to analyze thesensitive attributes tothe sustainablemanagement ofLimboto Lake. The Multi-Dimension Scaling(MDS) is used as analysis tool of management sustainability. The analysis showed that the ecologicaldimensionis18.59% (bad condition),the economicdimensionof sustainabilityindexis62.90% (fairly continuous),the social dimension of sustainability index is 45.18% (less sustainable), policy and institutional dimensions is 39.72% (less sustainable), while thetechnologyinfrastructure dimensionis 38.79% (fairly continuous). The multi-dimensions value is38.68 (less sustainable). Sensitive attribute analysis results indicate that there are 21 sensitive attributes among 45 totalanalyzed attributes that influence the management of Limboto.
