ABSTRAK
EVALUASI TEGANGAN DAN BE BAN PENYANGGA PIPA SISTEM PENDINGIN SEKUNDER
RSG-GAS. Telah dilakukan evaIuasi tegangan daD bcban penyangga pada segmen pemipaan pendingin
sekunder. Dalam makaIah ini diuraikan cara melakukan analisis terhadap sistem pemipaan dcngan
menggunakan paket computer code "PS+CAEPIPE vcrsi 3.4.05 WIt. Dari segmen pipa yang dipilih
scbagai bahan analisis ini disusun data inputan berupa karakteristik pipa, sifat -sifat llk1tcrial, kondisi
operasi, peralatan, pcnyangga d;m lain -lain. Hasil ;malisis mcnunjukan b,tllwa teg;mgan dan bcb;m
penyangga pipa apabila mcnggunakan Ictak, jenis dan juntl,tll pcnyangga sesuai dengan sistem y;mg telah
terpasang untuk bcb;m sustain 3638 psi (node 160), tllcnnal 13517 psi (node 90), serta kombinasi sustain
+ thermal (node 90) 16747 psi. Sed,illgk;m apabila dilakukan optimasi terhadap pengguna;m penyangga,
maka tegang;m d;m beban penyangga untuk beb;m sustain 4283 psi (node 10), thernlal 13517 psi (node
90), serta beb;m kombinasi sustain + thermal (node 90) 17350 psi. Harga batas beban y;mg diijinkan
menurut paket program PS + CAEPIPE untuk bcban sustain 15000 psi, thernml22500 psi dan kombinasi
sustain + thermal 37500 psi. Dari hasil evaluasi dapat disimpulk3Il bahwa tegang;m dan beban penyangga
pipa sistem pendingin sekunder cukup kecil dan penggunaan penyangga terkesan berlebih,ill dan kUr3Ilg
ekonomis.
ABSTRACT
THE EVALUATION OF STRESS AND PIPING SUPPORT LOADS ON "RSG-GAS"
SECONDARY COOLING SYSTEM. The evaluation of stress and piping support loads was evaluated
on piping segment of secondary cooling water piping. In this paper, the analysis methods are presented
with the use of computer code PS + CAEPIPE Version 3.4.05. W. From the selected pipe segment, the data
of pipe characteritics, material properties, operation and design condition, equipment and supports were
used as inputs. The results of analysis show that stress and supports loads if using location, kind and
number of support equal with the system that have been installed for sustain load 3638 psi (node 160),
thermal 13517 psi (node 90) and combination of sustain and thermal (node 90) 16747 psi. Meanwhile, if
the optirnation supports, stress and support load for sustain load are respectively 4283 psi (nodel0),
thermal 13517 psi (node 90) and combination of sustain + thermal (node 90) 17350 psi. The limit values
of permited support based on Code PS+CAEPIPE of sustain load are 15000 psi, thermal 22500 psi and
combination of sustain + thern1al 37500 psi. The conclusion of evaluation results, that stress support load
of pipe secondary cooling system are sufficiently low and using support show excessive and not econimic.
