Studi aspek reproduksi ikan belingka (Puntius belinka Blkr) dalam upaya domestikasi di Danau Singkarak

The Puntius belinka Blkr only lives at Singkarak lake. It has economic value and the opportunities for breeding. The purpose of this studi is to know the reproduction aspect of Puntius belinka Blkr, especially mature size, gonad somatic index, fecundity and food habits. Famale Puntius belinka mostly have the size 214 to 321 mm with the gonad somatic index 3,39 – 6,78 %, while the male ones are 181 to280 mm in size with the gonad somatic index 0,42 to 3,57 %. Total range of fecundity is 17.599 to 60.399 per fish. Kinds of food consumed by Puntius belinka are phytoplanton, zooplankton and detritus.
