Abstract

One of the important thing in designing and maintaining the FPSO in Makassar strait is choosing the appropriate mooring such that this system is stable. The mooring line can be selected as efficient as possible. Based on the mooring line calculation, we obtain 8321 KN from the Indonesian Hydrodynamie Laboratory. Then by using Newton interpolation we get the required maximum load of the mooring such that we have the appropriate mooring.
