Abstract
Stability is a factor that must be considered in making a formulation of a preparation pharmacy. Therefore, the radiochemical stability of silver nanoparticles (AgNP) is labeled Iodine-131 ( 131 I) is a very important parameter before being used for radiotherapy. Creation AgNP- 131 I can be done by the reduction method which in this AgNP research will be labeled with 131 I made with 3 different methods. The three variations of the method include synthesis of AgNP without centrifugation (Sample 1), with centrifugation 12,210 rpm 30 min, 4o C (Sample 2), and sample 3 of sample 2 was resentrifuged (8000 rpm, 15 min, 4 o C).
The AgNP- 131 I solution formed from the 3 methods was tested for radiochemical stability on day 1, 2, 5 and 12 using paper chromatography method and using Autoradiography tool. Results stability testing showed 100% purity of radionuclides AgNP- 131 I and purity radiochemistry above 95% for all three methods. While the results of stability testing on the day to-12, the radiochemical stability of AgNP- 131 I still satisfies radiochemical stability parameters is above 95%
