Peran pimpinan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja karyawan TVRI Stasiun Jakarta (Study kasus pada Yayasan Kuntum Bil Khoir Subang)

The role of a leader is one of the most important elements in an effort to advance a group, institution or organization from the lowest to the highest level. Where the element of leadership is a great force that can move struggles and actions towards organizational success. This study aims to determine and analyze the following: (1) The role of leadership in improving employee motivation at TVRI Station Jakarta. (2) The leadership strategies in improving employee performance at TVRI Station Jakarta. This study uses a survey method with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique involves three pathways, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study, as shown by the results of observation and interviews conducted, the findings of the researcher regarding the role of leadership in improving motivation and performance of employees at TVRI Station Jakarta is Excellent (Guiding, Fun, Comfortable, Appreciation, and Training).The suggestions made by the researcher are expected to be useful for the development of knowledge, especially in the theoretical implementation of increasing motivation and employee performance at atelevision station.
