Abstract
In mount Galunggung, found 29 species of terrestrial snails of 6 families who live in relatively homogeneous forest and thin litter. The difference of landsnails species number between mount Galunggung and neighboring mount Sawal is due to the difference forest conditions between both of them. The highest density were achieved by Lagochilus convexum and Lagochilus grandipilum, 0.28 and 0.13 individu/m2 respectively. The success of the two species with the highest density Lagochilus live in mount Galunggung be caused by the ability of both to spread widely
