Abstract

Sistem pencacah nuklir yang baru menggunakan mikrokontroler seri
AT89S8252. Kelebihan system pencacah nuklir yang baru meliputi:
fleksibilitas pengaturan waktu cacah, kemampuan menyimpan data dalarn
EEPROM, dan kemampuan berkomunikasi secara serial dengan personal
computer. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan memvariasi frekuensi cacah
masukan dan variasi waktu cacah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa hasil
pencacahan sebanding dengan frekuensi pulsa cacah dan waktu cacah.
Berdasarkan uji chi square dengan sumber (Co-60) aktivitas 20,81 JlCi
diperoleh nilai 'X: = 5,769 untuk tingkat kepercayaan 99%. Nilai tersebut
menunjukkan sistem berhasil dibuat dengan baik.
(The system is constructed on microcontroller series AT89S8252. The
system's performance is better than the old system performance, because it
has some strength that consist of flexibility in setting the counting time,
ability to storage the data of count, and ability in interfacing with computer.
System testing is done by varying frequency of pulse count and varying the
counting time. Result of testing shows that the result of counting is linier
with the input of count frequency counting time. Based on chi square test
with Source 20, 81 pO activity of CO-60, the value of i = 5,769 was
obtained on 99% confidence degree. This value shows that the system can
work well.)
