Abstract

Creative thinking skills of students in the process of learning and teaching is needed, specially in Christian education learning. The purpose of this study was to see how much influence the application of the project-based learning in improving the thinking skills of seventh grade students in Christian education learning. In this study using a quantitative approach with the type of associative quantitative research using survey methods and documentation studies. The sample inn this study were students of class VII SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta randomly selected using simple random sampling technique. Correlation test results (r) of 0,747 which means there is a strong relationship between the application of learning models PjBL with creative thingking skills of students class VII on Christian education learning. Regression coefficient test results show the magnitude of the influence of the application of learning models PjBL that is equal to 0,927 to the improvement of creative thingking skills of seventh grade students in Christian education learning.
