Breast cancer is a disease that can affect anyone, various kinds of treatment for the disease can cause physiological, physchological, and social peoblems. Breast cancer is an abnormal growth of cells in the breast which can sometimes be felt as a lump or mass which is often referred to as a
tumor. Breast cancer greatly affects a person’s quality of life, this due to changes in physical and psychological terms. One of the factors that greatly affects the quality of life is a family support. Family support is the attitude, action and acceptance of the family towards family members. To identify the effect of family support program education on quality of life of breast cancer patients at murni teguh memorial hospital. This study used a pre-experimental design, using a one group pre-test post test design. Sampling using purposive sampling with a total sample of 44 respondents. The research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. Analysis of the data used is the Paired
Sample T Test. The result showed that there was an influence of family support program education on the quality of life of breast cancer patienst at murni teguh memorial hospital. Paired sample T Test statistic shows p value= 0.00. There is an effect of family support program education on the
quality of life of breast cancer patients at murni teguh memorial hospital.
