Correlation Between AgNOR, MIB-1 and Radiotherapy Response in Lung Cancer

Radiosensitivity level is highly correlated with cell division level that can be protected by either detection of NOR, KI-67 indexes and others. NOR is a segment of DNA that is associated with nucleus containing gene encoding ribosome. NOR positively correlated with Ki-67 index. Aim of the research is to detect NOR and MIB-1 (Ki67) index as marker of tumor cell radiosensitivity and can be used to optimize lung cancer patient treatment with radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy.
