Abstract
Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes with a Contextual Approach Through YouTube Mediafor Class IX-G Students: SMPN 244 Jakarta 2022. The research objective to be achieved in this study is to obtain empirical data on improving Mathematics learning outcomes regarding mastery of the concept of Constructing Curved Side Space in class IX-G students of SMP N 244 Jakarta through YouTube media. The research was carried out at State Junior High School 244 Jakarta with the research subjects being junior high school students in class IX-G semester 2 for the 2021/2022 academic year. Media YouTube is a video-sharing website created by three former PayPalemployees in February 2005. This website allows users to upload, watch, and share videos. Based on the description of the results of observations and evaluations of the cycle above, it shows that the provision of Mathematics learning actions using a contextual approach with YouTube media can significantly improve mathematics learning outcomes, namely from Cycle I, Cycle II, and Cycle III, although there are still 3 students who have not reached the Completeness Criteria. Minimum (KKM) material for Constructing Curved Side Space. The increase from cycle I to Cycle II is 3.5% and from Cycle II to Cycle III is 11.5%. Therefore, corrective actions will not be carried out in the next cycle.
