Abstract

This article is to describe coaching teachers with scientific supervision. The description involves: (1) Scientific supervision as a model in the supervision of education can be used by supervisors to capture information or data and assess the performance of principals and teachers by distributing questionnaires, (2) The objective of the scientific meeting supervision technique is to obtain new information related to the development of the teacher profession and to seek solutions to it if there are obstacles that fare, (3) The characteristics of supervision scientific are: implemented on a planned and continuous basis, systematic and using certain procedures and techniques, using data collection instruments, using an easy-to-answer questionnaire, questionnaires are distributed to students or peer teachers. there is objective data obtained from real circumstances, (4) The steps of coaching teachers with supervision of scientific meetings are: The model of scientific supervision in the implementation, supervisors spread the questionnaire to students and / or to peer teachers. After it is filled or answered by students or peer teachers, drawn again and collected and processed, and analyzed until ultimately the results serve as an assessment of supervisors to the performance of principals, teachers, and school staff. In developing teachers, the supervisor first identifies the teacher's teaching shortcomings, through measuring teacher knowledge of the subject matter, the teacher's measurement of the learning methodology, and the measurement of the teacher's knowledge of the learning process. The activities of supervisors are done together with teachers to carry out experimentation on new ways, procedures and new methods. Teaching, and seeing the effect of new ways, procedures, and methods on the effectiveness of learning.
