Abstract

Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) is an activity with the aim of community service. This activity aims to help solve problems in the Kedungpring Hamlet area, especially those related to waste and increase the knowledge and skills of community members in sorting organic and inorganic waste. This community service activity is carried out through thematic methods, with activities including group discussions, program implementation, socialization on the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizers and the utilization of plastic waste/waste to be used as appropriate goods. The participation and enthusiasm of the representatives of each RT and RW in the activity was very good, the Sekar Peni Women Farmers Group in the Kedungpring hamlet actively contributed to training activities and actively shared in activities so that it made it easier for our group to carry out this community service program. The impact of the liquid organic fertilizer production activity has made the public aware of the importance of sorting waste so that it can be processed and made into material for the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer and a place for plant media. The hope of the community service is that the existing knowledge can be accepted and applied in a sustainable manner so that the waste problem in the Kedungpring hamlet can be resolved.
