Pengembangan modul IPA berbasis inkuiri pada materi organisasi kehidupan

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari pengamatan pada proses pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho Kabupaten Nias, yang selama ini masih belum pernah menggunakan modul dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran hanya berpusat pada guru. Subjek penelitian di SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho Kabupaten Nias, di kelas VII-B, dengan sampel sebanyak 15 orang peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1). menghasilkan modul IPA berbasis inkuiri pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan untuk kelas VII SMP dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D; (2). mengetahui kelayakan Modul IPA berbasis inkuiri pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan untuk kelas VII SMP; (3). mengetahui kepraktisan modul IPA berbasis inkuiri pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan untuk kelas VII SMP; dan (4). mengetahui efektivitas modul IPA berbasis inkuiri pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan untuk kelas VII SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4-D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu (1). angket penilaian kelayakan modul oleh para validator, (2). angket respon oleh peserta didik, (3) tes hasil belajar, (4). lembar observasi dan lembar wawancara. Hasil penelitian terdiri dari: (1). kelayakan modul IPA berbasis inkuri pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan dari validasi ahli materi, ahli bidang studi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli desain memperoleh persentase 100% dengan kriteria sangat layak; (2). kepraktisan modul IPA berbasis inkuri pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan 100% dengan kategori sangat praktis; (3). efektivitas modul IPA berbasis inkuri pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik sebesar 93%, kriteria sangat efektif.

This research was motivated by observations on the learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho, Nias Regency, which so far have never used modules in the learning process so that learning is only teacher-centered. The research subjects were at SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho, Nias Regency, in class VII-B, with a sample of 15 students. This study aims to (1). produce an inquirybased science module on the Life Organization System material for class VII SMP using the 4D development model; (2). find out the feasibility of an inquiry-based science module on the material of the Life Organization System for class VII SMP; (3). knowing the practicality of inquiry-based science modules on the material on the Organization of Life System for grade VII SMP; and (4). knowing the effectiveness of the inquiry-based science module on the material of the Organization of Life System for class VII SMP. This type of research is development research using a 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The instruments used are (1). module feasibility assessment questionnaire by the validators, (2). questionnaire responses by students, (3) learning outcomes test, (4). observation sheet and interview sheet. The results of the study consist of: (1). the feasibility of an inquiry-based science module on the Living Organizational System material from the validation of material experts, field experts, linguists, and design experts obtained a percentage of 100% with very feasible criteria; (2). the practicality of inquiry-based science modules on the Living Organizational System material in small group trials and 100% field trials with very practical categories; (3). the effectiveness of the inquiry-based science module on the material of the Organization of Life System with the percentage of student learning completeness of 93%, the criteria are very effective.
