Abstract
The lack of students' ability to learn English, especially in speaking, is a problem that must be addressed as soon as possible. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct classroom action research.
The purpose of this classroom action research is by learning through an Authentic teaching approach, students are expected to improve their ability to speak English.The research implementation follows a standard procedure, starting from the planning, implementation/action, observation/observation stages and ends with reflection. Reflection which is an activity of analyzing research data, as a stage to take the attitude of continuing or assuming that this research is sufficient. From the results of data analysis from cycle 1 and the next cycle showed an increase in learning outcomes. So it is hoped that the implementation of CAR is used as a culture for professional teacher performance, to overcome the problems experienced by students in the classroom during the teaching and learning process.
