Abstract
Two bronze statues, which are stored in the museum of Bikon Blewut in Sikka, Flores, are symbols of fertility related to the name of Ine Mbu as the goddess of paddy. Ine Mbu was a virgin who dedicated her blood and flesh with all her heart and soul and full of heroism feeling, as the symbol of paddy goddess. The philosophy which could be learned from this myth is that we should be willing to make a sacrifice for the sake of many people
