Megalithic research in Indonesia: Yesterday and tomorrow

Megalithic in Indonesia was carried out since the begenning of the 19 century. On the erarly stage, research was entirely depend on the report given by the local people, and based on typological approach. When the evidences became increasing, megalithic problems became more complex converting its homeland, typology, diffusion and background.
