Abstract
In the era of hunting gathering food, the prominent tools were palaeolithic tools in theformof massive tools and shavings. The technology ofstone tools, formerly, was just as practicalfunction adjusted with itsfunction and made in variousform. The technology ofstone tools which were produced by people in the area of Kupang sites were simple and showed similarity with Pacitan Culture. The types of those tools indicate that they functioned as devices for clearing shrubs, cuting, planing, hitting and processing raw food and also removing the skin ofhunted animals. Looking at the condition ofmost of the Palaeolithic tradition tools which are still in good condition indicate that those tools developed until the era ofcave living, in kupang
