Abstract

Biotransformation either by conyugation with glucoronic acid, sulfuric acid or by exidation occured in the linear. In the irradiated liver, biotransformation will be disturb. The degree of disturbance depends on several factors, especially radiation dose which will be absorbed by the liver. The degree of radiation includid liver damage can be observed by the determination of T1 (Spin Lattice Interaction Rerlaxstion Time). The mice were divided into five groups. Three mice of each groups where given with 2 ml with cysatin HCl of 2000 ppm, 15 minutes before irradiation by doses of 250; 500; 750; 1000; 1250; 1500 and 1750 rad. One of these five groups which was nor irradiated was used as control.On the determination T1 value by NMR pulsa it was showed that :
1. T1 value of without cysetin HCl was smaller than that of cysetin HCl given control (68,15 mdoc. Compared to 71,74 msec.
2. T1 of value sysetin HCl given irradiated sample was highgher than that of without cysetin HCl irradiated sample (69-104 msec. compered to 67,05 - 98 msec.)
3. On each increase of radiation dose, with or without administration of cysetin HCl, T1 value of sample was that of control, except for a dose of 250 rad.
