Abstract
The accumulation of uranium and strontium on tobacco leaves, grown in contaminated soils, were caried out. Seedling of tobacco were grown in pot container which filled and siols. And than the soils were contaminated sith waste which content of U and Sr. Tobacco leaves were harvested at early of flowering. U and Sr contents of leaf were analyzed by polarographic methods. The experimental results showed that tobacco was able to uptake and accumulated both uranium and stronium. On treatments of 500, 1000 and 1500 ppm U and Sr, accumulation of U and Sr by tobacco were as follows:Uranium : 0,81 ppm, 2,02 ppm and 4,2 ppm.Stronium : 1,59 ppm, 3,42 ppm and 6,90 ppm.
