Abstract
The effect of bromobenzene amounts (10\, 20\, and 100\) was studied for uranium determination in organic phase using X-ray fluoresence spectrometric method, with 109 Cd as exitation source. This method was rapid and precise particulary for direct uranium determination in organic phase. The three standard calibration curve i.e. the ratio of IUL/IBrK Vs U conentration (mgr/ml) were made from the uranyl nitrate solution eith U concentration 1-50 mgr/ml, in 30% TBP - 70% keoresene system. It was found that the three calibration curve were linear. The nitric acid variation had no influence in the U organic phase determination. The U concentration which was calculated by using the standar calibration curve (bromobenzene 20\) was more accurate then those of bromobenzene 10\. it is seem that the U concentration found by titrimetric method.
