Abstract

Potentiometric determination of 5 - 40 mg uranium by titan method been studied. The uranyle sulfate 3,5 hydrate was used as standard uranium surface. The uranium VI was reduced to uranium (IV) by titanium (III). The resultant uranium (IV) titrated by potassium dicromate potentiometrically using platinum and calomel electrode. The result of analysis gave 55,33 % uranium, calculated to overall weight to uranyl sulphate 3,5 hydrate, having 0,25 % of relative error 0,72 % reproducibility and 0,40 % standard deviation at 68,27 % confidence level.
