Abstract
Sukuh Temple is located at the border of Central Java and East Java. It shows the existence of two culture element (culture acculturation), namely Hindu culture and the original culture ofIndonesia (pre-historic). Sukuh Temple is a Hindu building which was built in terrace (teras berundak) system which is higher at its backside. On the top of the building, there is a horisontal space which is served as a placefor ceremony to ask for protection from gods.At the step of the entrance, there is a phallus relief (male sexual organ) and vagina (female sexual organ) in big sizes and "having sex" position. Phallus or vagina is a form that is frequently found at pre-historical buildings (megalithic). Another reliefwith prehistorical charakteristic is various types of simple statues without gods' atributes
