The production of palm oil and palm kernel oil is one of the important resources of our national income, which will be developed by the government in a great program during
"Pelita IV " and "Repelita V". Beside export requirement, the great production or over production should be processed
in order to raise the added value and to diversify the product. In order to raise the added value and to diversify the product, the present technology of palm oil and palm kernel oil processing cannot be matchable with the development of great production of raw material in the future. Down stream industry o f fat and oil should be developed at this moment, to avoid over production of palm oil and palm kernel oil.
