ABSTRACT
Simulation Of Power Reactor Controls G.A. Siwabessy Using Artificial Neural Networks.
The power control of Multipurpose Reactor Control G.A. Siwabessy has controlled manually by
the operator with the help of using a conventional feedback controller (PI controller) installed in
the Marshaling Kiosk. In this research, the simulation of reactor power control using artificial
neural network (ANN) using backpropargation method with damped least-squares (DLS)
algorithm. This study uses two ANN, which acts as a model and controller. The ANNBackpropargation
reactor model is trained using input from the sensor, control rod and inputoutput
reactor circuit state. The ANN controller is trained by comparing the control system
response and the PI control output from the reactor. A trained ANN controller is tested using an
reactor simulation. The simulation result shows that ANN-controller succeeded in reducing
overshoot and settling time .
