Study of site characteristic and foundation types of NPP in some
states in the worlds have been carried out. The purpose of study is obtained the geotechnical data
conditions of area that related to the safety technology of NPP foundation in some states. Method in
this research are the secondary data of soil/rocks profile and slope made in which required in
construction of NPP foundation, study of best practice technique in NPP foundation in some states in
worlds. Data from some states of NPP owner, such as India, Pakistan, Brazil, Jepang and Armenia
have been studied from aspect of NPP foundation safety is relevant to geology condition. The result
indicate that site with surface hard rock type (Vs  600m/s) do not require deep excavation because all
burden can be distributed in flatten better. While sitting with soft rock type (Vs < 350 m/s) required by
deep excavation getting stable foundation so that the NPP foundation burden fulcrums can be put down
at rock enough hard in deepness either through encumbering of direct and also base on piling
