Abstract

In 2013 core drilling carried out in Lemajung Sector
for 5 drill hole with a depth of 300 meters each. Target of drilling is to determine and verify the
horizontal and vertical extension of uranium mineralization. The uranium mineralization in
Lemajung contained in favorable layer of metasiltstone and schistose metapelite in between the sterile
layer of andalusite metapelite and biotite metapelite. The purpose of this research is to construct
geological models of ore and re-evaluation of uranium resources in Lemajung. Geological modeling
and resource estimation performed by Surpac software program. In the early stages database compiled
based on 42 core drilling and 7 non-core drilling. Grade and thickness of mineralization plane resulted
from gamma ray log interpretation using the total area method. Ore body as much as 51 pieces
obtained from the correlation. Correlations conducted on ore which is parallel to the foliation plane of
S1. Resource estimation done by the method of inverse distance estimation statistics (IDE), block
model size of 4x4x2 m and sub-blocks 0,5x0,5x0,25 m, the radius of influence for the measured and
indicated resource set 25 m and 50 m, with cut-off grade of 0,01 %U3O8. The result of estimation is
measured resource of 708 ton eU3O8 grading at 0,081 %U3O8, and indicated resource of 199 ton
eU3O8 grading at 0,076 %U3O8.
