Abstract

ABSTRAK
EVALUASI KESELAMATAN SISTEM VENTILASI REAKTOR KARTINI. Telah dilakukan penilaian terhadap sistem ventilasi reaktor Kartini. Dasar penilaian yang digunakan adalah sistem ventilasi harus berfungsi sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan. Dari evaluasi ini diketahui bahwa perawatan pre filter dan filter telah dilakukan sesuai syarat yang ditetapkan. Dari perhitungan mengenai blower diketahui daya yang dibutuhkan adalah 20,6 kW. Sedangkan kecepatan rerata aliran udara di dalam ducting adalah 5,85 m/detik, dan perbedaan tekanan udara di dalam dan di luar gedung reaktor adalah sekitar 0,5 cmH 2O. Udara dalam gedung reaktor banyak mengandung debu karena udara luar yang masuk melalui rolling door tidak melewati filter, akibatnya kualitas udara dalam reaktor tidak bersih. Dari hasil kajian ini disimpulkan bahwa kapasitas sistem ventilasi telah memenuhi kebutuhan,tetapi rolling door perlu dilengkapi fasilitas sistem filtering agar udara yang masuk ke dalam ruang reaktor sudah tersaring.

ABSTRACT
SAFETY EVALUATION OF VENTILATION SYSTEM FORKARTINI REACTOR. The assesment of ventilation system of the Kartini reactor has been done. The evaluation is based on the condition that the ventilation system is working its function properly and meet the criteria those permitted. From the evaluation it is found that the maintenance of pre filter and filter was done as the condition decided. Its known from the calculation that the power of blower required is 20,6 kW. While the average velocity of air flow inside ducting is 5,85 m/s, and the different of pressure between inside and outside of reactor building is about 0,5 cmH 2O. The air on reactor building is found to contains dust significantly because the outside air that come into throught the rolling door is not filtered, therefore the air quality inside reactor building is not good. From the result assesment its deduced that the capacity of ventilation system has fulfilled requirement, however the rolling door need to be fasilitated by filtering system in order that the incoming air into reactor building has been filtered.
