Abstract

Correction factor of resistivity ({rho}) and current density (j) measurement result has been performed by using four point probe method. Samples prepared for this research are superconductor YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub 7-}x system in the form of two bulks and two thick sheets with different dimensions. The mean resistivities for both bulk samples measured at 100 and 200 K are 5.73 m{omega}cm, 5.72 m {omega}cm, and 6.77 m{omega}cm respectively with mean gradients {alpha} are 1.07 m{omega}cm. and 1,01 m{omega}cm K{sup -}1 respectively. The mean resistivities for both thick sheet samples measured at 100 and 200 K are 5.56 m{omega}cm, 5.41 m{omega}cm, and 6.66 m{omega}cm, 6.63 m{omega}cm respectively with mean gradients {alpha} are 1.1 m{omega}cm K-1 and 1.22 m{omega}cm K{sup -}1 respectively. The mean current densities measured on both samples form are 45.41 A cm-2, 45.38 A cm{sup -}2, 45.26 A cm{sup -}2, and 45.14 A.cm{sup -}2, respectively. So it can be concluded that sample dimension factor affected measurement result and correction.
